After all the work of drilling holes in all the angle iron pieces, we are not in the process of installing them on the parapet walls. I know it sounds funny, but the time it took to drill all those holes through the 1/4″ steel plate angle irons was longer than we all hoped for. Even with spraying water on the drill bits, the heat of drilling destroyed so many of the drill bits that we had to replace them often.
Now that the drilling is over, we are installing them to reinforce the parapet walls as you can see from these photos
